{Weight Watchers - Weigh In 3}

Not counting my first weigh in because it was only two days on program, today was my third weigh in. I had a 4 pound loss! Which brings my total to 9.8 pounds in three weeks. I am loving this program. I feel like I can still have all the food I want for the most part, I just need to ensure that I make it more healthy or have the points to cover it.

I was able to wear this sweater this weekend. I haven't been able to wear it for about a year because I've felt like it's been too tight. Well I rocked it this weekend. Besides losing weight I'm also gaining confidence on this program. I feel awesome and I'm excited to keep going!

Excited to be able to wear this sweater that I haven't been confident enough to wear for a long time. #ww #weightwatchers #nsv

{weight loss progress}

After two full weeks on Weight Watchers I am down 5.8 pounds. I know when I add running back into it the pounds will drop off more quickly. I just can't seem to fit the time in right now with school, work and the kids. Oh and the weather here lately has been awful! But hopefully after this week of dreary rain I'll be able to hit the streets.

Untitled

I thought I would write a bit about the stuff I've been eating on Weight Watchers. Not only cause I really need to get better about writing about anything on here but also so that when I look back, I'll have some sort of record to help me see what I've done.

Untitled

I definitely eat a lot of salads. I love salad. The lettuce and all the fruits and veggies are 0 Smart Points. My favorite dressing is Newmans Parmesan & Garlic which is 4 Smart Points and the Babybel cheese are 1 Smart Point each.
Got a spiralizer today. Spiraled some cukes for the top of my salad. 9SP. #weightwatchers #weightwatcherspointsplus #quintessentialfatgirlDinner last night. 9 smart points. #weightwatcherspointsplus #weightwatchers #quintessentialfatgirl

I've also discovered flat outs. I use them to make pizza. The flat out is 2 Smart Points and the sauce which is Rao's homemade pizza sauce is 0 Smart Points. Then I add whatever toppings I am in the mood for. So good!
UntitledUntitled

For breakfast on work days I have overnight oats. On mornings that I'm home I've been making more of a real breakfast. The bread is 1 Smart Point per slice. Eggs are 2 Smart Points each. The Butterball everyday turkey bacon is 3 Smart Points. The fruits are 0 Smart Points. I also use I can't Believe it's Not Butter Spray which is 0 Smart Points. The pancakes are Kodiak Power cakes and it's 5 Smart Points for 1/2 cup of mix. These are very tasty!

The thing I miss the most for sure on this plan is butter. Butter and I are besties and I feel bad turning my back on it. But you know what butter? You make my ass bigger and not in a good way so we're on a break!

{weight watchers}

Last week I joined Weight Watchers. I've had some success on the program in the past. Specifically right before I got pregnant with Isobel. Then they went and changed everything and it wasn't working for me so I cancelled my membership. Well last week I was reminded by a co-worker about it and I signed up. This wedding is creeping up on me and I need to get serious about losing some weight. Of course not only for the wedding, for my overall health but looking better in my gown is always a plus, right?

So far I am loving the program again! They have Smart Points now and *most fruits and vegetable are 0 points. This is helpful to not go over your daily allotment of points. I have had days where I've gone over but yesterday I was way under and completely full on vegetables. I suppose that's a good thing!

I'm excited to start this journey. I will succeed this time. Consider it done. Also, I apologize ahead of time for all of the Weight Watchers posts and foods headed this way. I'm just way too excited about it!

Starting Weight: 234
Current Weight: 230
1st Goal Weight: 200

{And yeah, I put my weight out there. I don't care one bit. It's just a number. It does not define me. I'm still totally awesomesauce!}

{weight loss}

Yesterday was our first weigh in. I was really good about not getting on the scale during the week.  I got on once in a forgetful-out-of-habit moment.

I'm down 1.7 pounds.  And super happy about it.  On top of completing the first week of Bikini Body Mommy I've also started tracking my calories everyday and  wearing my fit bit.  Yesterday I also started my Pact app up again in order to hold myself more accountable.

Isn't that hilarious????  Lisa sent that to me a couple of days ago. Love it.

{here we go again}

I think many of us start and stop this journey over and over again throughout our lives. It's not something to be ashamed of. You just need to be willing to start again. I'm not embarrassed that I have tried and failed many times before. It's all about moving on. So, here we go again.

I have signed up for the Bikini Body Mommy 90 challenge.  Do I expect to have a "bikini body" at the end of all this?  NO. lol. But I do expect to be stronger.  Hopefully a little smaller, but stronger is my top goal.

I have finished week 1 and I already feel better and stronger than I did on day 1.  This is a free program open to everyone. You don't need to want an actual bikini body or even be a mommy to join.  It's hard.  Really hard. Join in with me?!

Btw here is my "before" pic. They make you take a before pic as well as measurements every week.  I'm down almost two pounds week 1 and I am super excited to see what week 2 has to offer.

Sure I'm cute, but I've got some ways to go in the strength department.  :)

{Getting Healthy}

I've posted many "weight loss" posts here.  And do you know where they all got me?  Back up to 230 lbs.  And flip flopping with writing about losing weight and about accepting myself.  You know what? Enough already.

I do accept myself.  I love myself.  I am perfect.  But I am overweight.  But I don't need to "lose weight".  I need to "become healthier".  So that's what I'm doing.  I'm not going crazy and limiting myself to only eating lettuce and working out non stop.  That's bullshit.

Pardon my language.  Or not.  ;)

I've been utilizing four apps to help me make healthy choices.  They all link with at least one of the other ones so it makes it really easy to merge everything.

I have been using My Fitness Pal for 50 days.  I have logged in every single day for 50 days.  I don't believe I have gone over my calorie goal at all and if I did, it was at the very beginning.  I have it set up to lose one pound a week.  Nothing crazy.

I also bought a Fit Bit.  I was on the fence about it at first and wasn't sure if I was going to keep it.  I have my goals set at 10,000 steps and 5 miles a day.  I try to always make my step goal {it doesn't happen everyday} but I don't kill myself over the miles.  I know if I hit the 10,000 steps then it was a good day.

My exercise has been walking.  That's it.  I walk outside, at home with my walking video or at the gym on the treadmill.  No elliptical.  No crazy aerobics.  I still do the occasional zumba when I can because I love it so much but I think I've been to three classes in the last 50 days.  I use Run Keeper to track my walking outside and at the gym.  I'll also plug in the amount of "miles" I went at home when I do my video.

IMG_0694

The last one I just started using is Gym Pact.  Melissa told me about this one.  This is a no brainer if you're already working out on a consistent basis.  You make a pact to work out a certain amount of times per week and if you do, you get paid.  If you don't, you pay.  Easy.

So, the results.  So far I have lost a little over 16 pounds.  I'm really happy with those 16 pounds.  I know if I was "stricter" with what I ate for my calories or if I pushed my self more in my workouts I'd lose more but I'm not in it strictly to lose weight.  I just want to be healthier.  And I need to do that in a way that makes me want to stick with it.  So slow and steady wins the race.  Right?

It's really easy to get over 2 miles in a day when they look like this.  ;)

{What I've Been Up To}

Hey y'all!  How's it going?  I know in this post I declared my love for myself and proclaimed from the rooftops that I've excepted my vagina cowl for good and even decided that it comes in handy.  Hey, it was a good cell phone holder!  Who am I kidding, that shit is still there and it still holds my cell phone.

But it is slowly going away.  Sometime since that post I've decided that yes, I'm beautiful.  Yes, I'm sexy.  Yes, I'm fat.  And you know what?  That's ok.  I think we all go through this up and down in life.  Don't we?  It might not always be about weight.  It could be about anything.  One day you feel good about it, another day, not so much.  That makes sense to me.

So I've gotten my butt in gear and kicked all those diets out the damn window.  I downloaded RunKeeper and MyFitnessPal and got to it.  Am I running?  Hell to the NO.  I am however, walking.  I used to do the elliptical and I think that walking on the treadmill is actually harder.  You have to actually pick your feet up and move them.  With the elliptical it kind of does all the work for you.  You know?  I also bought a Fit Bit but I'm not sold on it yet.  I'm not sure it does anything for me that the other two apps can't do on their own.  I'm going to keep it for a little bit longer and then we'll see.

So I am counting calories and walking.  I've lost ten pounds.  I haven't been this weight since last year.  This is huge.  I feel like I've been battling the same seven or eight pounds all year and now I've finally gotten over that hump.  I've walked 13 miles this week and the last four times I've gone walking I've done two miles at a time.  And I'm actually enjoying walking.  I like walking outside and seeing my town and everything going on during the summer and I like reading while walking on the treadmill in the gym.

I hope that posting about this isn't the kiss of death that it seems to have been in the past but I was just too excited not to share with y'all!  I know ten pounds isn't a ton but it's a big step in the right direction for me.  If any of you are on your path to being healthier please let me know and we can support each other!

And because I can't post without a pic you get a pic of me super sweaty after zumba last week.  :)

{Just Me}

I like to think of myself as someone who has high self esteem.  For most of my life, I have been that person.  I was never one of the skinny girls.  I was never able to fit into a single digit pant.  And that was ok.  Because I was perfect.

I went through a period of time in my adult life where I did not feel this way.  I was not happy with myself.  My self esteem was not where it should be.  I wish I knew then.  Well, I guess I did know but I wish I had felt it then.

I still struggle today.  I weigh the most I have ever.  That's some scary shit.  And the weight is not coming off easily even though I am trying.  Trying more than I ever have before.  Up until a few weeks ago I really cared.  My self esteem is still much higher than it was during my low time.  I know I'm beautiful.  I know I'm sexy.  But there were still those thoughts creeping in about not being good enough.  Not being skinny enough.

I was dieting before I got sick at the beginning of the month.  I was eating healthy and working out and I had lost eight pounds.  It took almost four months to lose those eight pounds.  And I know what you're gonna say the slower it comes off, the better.  Just shut up, ok?  I was frustrated before getting sick.  I was discouraged.  I wanted my vagina cowl to go away.

What's a vagina cowl you ask?  You know that loose skin you get on your lower belly after having ten million children?  You know how it kind of hangs and looks like a cowl neck shirt.  Yeah that.  You're welcome for that.  And that shit, trademarked.  Don't you dare steal it.

Today I'm in a better place.  I think.  Today I don't care.  I've gained four of those eight pounds back since leaving the hospital and eating everything in sight.  And I just don't care.  My vagina cowl was getting smaller and now it's back.  You know what, I kind of missed it.  It holds my phone when I'm sitting in the car and keeps my hands warm sometimes.  It's useful.

Seriously though, something happened to me.  I was very very sick.  It was as close to a death scare as I ever want to get again.  I think a part of me really was afraid of dying while I was in that ER.  It was the closest I'd ever come to feeling that way.  I got better and then I came home.  I was weak at first but I'm getting stronger every day.

And now?  Now those extra pounds don't seem to matter.  The grey hair that I desperately need to dye so badly that two people have mentioned it to me?  Doesn't seem to matter.  I just don't care.  What I care about is being here for my family.  If that means that I have a little grey hair and a VC {vagina cowl, you know} then so be it.  I just can't worry about that right now.

For now I'm going to the gym.  But not to lose weight.  To get strong.  To build back some strength and to fight against whatever it was that ravaged my body and made me lose myself for a bit.  I'm gonna kick this mystery virus right in the VC.  It may have scared the pants off of me and made me question my future but it also made me appreciate my present and helped me gain back a little bit of that self esteem.  I was strong enough to fight back.  And that's something to be proud of.

So now I leave you with this pic of me that before would not have been good enough. My bangs look awful and the angle is all wrong making me look like I'm naked and floating in a sea of hair. But today, it's beautiful. Today it's me. Lisa's wife and Bailey, Chloe, Ian and Isobel's Mommy. What more could I ask for?

{#girlproblems}

If I were posting this to Twitter it would read:
My head is telling me not to eat all.the.donuts. but my achy crampy uterus is screaming at me to get.to.it. #girlproblems

It went down like this. I'm trying to eat healthy and even though the weight isn't coming off like I would like it to, I'm sticking with it. Until. Until I get my period. Yup. I'm going there. If it makes you queasy move along now. Anyways I'm getting my period and for days and days all I can think about is eating a whole bag of these babies....

Mmmmm.

And no, they're not donettes but they will do in a crampergency. Trust me. Yesterday was the day. I was at work and went out to talk to a friend to help me back away from the donuts. Nope. She tried but it didn't work. On my way down to the donuts I sent Lisa and SOS. I didn't hear back right away so I kept walking. Just as I was getting to the donuts this series of texts happened.

Untitled

And you know what, they aren't donettes. And they aren't that good. She was right. {She usually is. Don't tell her though.} So I walked away. I won. I bought an apple and a Chobani and I was ok. No need for pouty faces.

I want all the donuts.

Although, all this talk about donuts is making me want to go get some right now!
I kid. I kid. Kind of.

{determination}

weight loss takes hard work.  and determination.  i feel like i'm always battling the same weight.  writing the same post.  but now, it changes.  i've said that before and i meant it.  i mean it this time too.

i'm not on a diet.  i'm changing my life.  making better decisions.  will they always be the right decision?  no.  like the macaroni and cheese and fresh out of the oven roll from panera bread that i ate this weekend.  or the three cupcakes i've eaten since then.

{two of these and one other kind. ;)}
Cupcake Charlie's

but today is a fresh start.  today i have my eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast.  today i have a salad for lunch.  today i start over.  today i get back on track.

it isn't the determination to eat healthy that's hard.  it's the determination to not let those cupcakes or that mac and cheese defeat you.  that's the hard part.  but just because i chose to eat something that wasn't healthy, it doesn't mean i screwed up.  it doesn't mean i blew everything.  it doesn't mean that i failed and that i should give up.

it means i indulged.  life is all about indulgences.  it's determining which ones to indulge in and how often.  that's the important part.  that's the stickler.  so while i'm eating healthier and making better choices, i'm also taking a good look at how and when i indulge.

{weight 2/23 230.6.  weight today 225.1.  down 5.5 pounds}

{weight loss}

i can't tell you how many times i've typed that post title in the life of this blog.  quite a bit.  i even posted a picture of my weight last february.  you can see that post here.  you know what? here it is again. why not?   i'm not ashamed.  this is me.

IMG_3820

and even though i've only really gained four pounds since that picture was taken, everything has moved.  and my moved i mean sagged.  you know what i mean.  the great weight shift.

so here we are again.  losing weight.  on a diet.  and succeeding.  so far.

i'm doing a combo of the 17 day diet and weight watchers.  kind of my own thing.  i've been attempting to eat healthier and lose some lb's for almost two weeks.  i'm down six pounds.  yay!

basically i'm eating low carb, high protein.  this is what i did a while back and lost a good bit of weight.  and then life happened.  yeah, sucks.  i know.

but i don't want to be this woman who is constantly on a diet but always fat.  so i'm trying to not think of it as a diet but as a lifestyle change.  which is what everyone says.  but is it that easy?  no.

i'm trying though.  and i'm talking about it again here to hold myself accountable.  so help keep me accountable would ya?  and if you have any great recipes or blogs that you think would help, please pass them along.

yay for healthy eating.  oh, and i'm working out more.  which i love and don't hate at all.  seriously.  no sarcasm here.

my immediate goal is 15 pounds.  my overall goal is 50.  {that's a big number y'all}

{back on the wagon...a link up post}

starting today i'm back on the weight loss wagon.  i went on vacation and fell off of the wagon face first into beignets, dole whips and cupcakes.  and just haven't gotten back on.  i have officially almost gained back everything it took me so long to lose.  and you know what?  it wasn't worth it.  well the beignets, dole whips and cupcakes while on vacation were but the rest of it, not so much.

so i'm back.  hopefully i'll see results sooner this time.  it's really hard to diet and work out 4 times a week and see nothing.  i'm also gonna switch up my workout routine.  maybe my body is just getting used to it?  it's still difficult for me.  i still sweat.  a lot.  but maybe it's not having the same impact it did at first?  anyone a workout goddess?  give me some tips!  right now i'm doing about 45 minutes on the elliptical.  sometimes i do the bike.  that's about it.  help me!

i know a lot of people have successfully done this.  please help.  share your stories.  your wins.  your losses.  or if you haven't struggled but you know someone that has or follow a great blog about it, please let me know!  :)

and if anyone is also struggling or just starting out and you want to link up, please do.  we can do it together!  we might just be the inspiration we all need.
starting my countdown over.  today i weigh 221.3  initial goal weight is 212.  9.3 pounds to go!

4/12/12

{another weight loss update}

so i have this theory. i can *either* eat healthier *or* work out. not both. doing both at the same time is hard. so i've been working out. and i've been eating better but not necessarily the best i can. i also have this theory that if i'm working out more than i used to, it shouldn't matter what i eat. i'm still moving more. i should lose weight. WRONG!

so this week, i started really doing weight watchers again. i mean counting even those two ok four hershey kisses i snuck. even if i know i'm having a bad day and i go over in points, i'm counting. and you know what? it just might be working.

i was able to enter into my little weight tracker that i've lost two pounds this week. you have no idea how HUGE that is. i've been at this steadily since february when i posted {this} number to show the world.  that was a little over two months ago.

they say that slow and steady is best right???  i've been putting on and taking off what seems like the same two pounds forever.  this is what my scale told me this morning........{p.s. it hasn't been that low since i can remember} {p.s.s. which in turn makes me sick.  blah.}

please excuse the toes that badly need to be painted. oh and that red spot is leftover polish...not blood or dirt. i'm way more embarrassed about posting a pic in the state my feet are in then the number on the scale. that's progress, right??!

{weight loss...an update}

so i'm trying to lose weight.  i've told you all that.  i haven't really posted an update because there hasn't been much to update.  it's been really discouraging to not see the number move.  or rather to see it move but up and down within the same six pounds.  i haven't lost anything significant.

i also haven't given up.  i'm still watching what i eat.  and still {kind of} doing weight watchers.  by kind of, i mean i don't enter or track every single thing but i'm aware of how many points everything is and i eat as if i were tracking it.  and i'm working out.  i try to make it to the gym at least 3 times a week.  in my last four trips, i've moved my body almost 25 miles whether on the treadmill, elliptical or bike.  i know that doesn't seem like much, but for me, it's mountains.  and i'm becoming slightly addicted to the gym.  i guess there's worse things to be addicted to.  right?

AND, guys, this is a HUGE one.  hence the caps...i've only bought and consumed ONE bag of cadbury mini eggs.  in case you don't know, they are my kryptonite.  i used to buy enough to stockpile and last me until well after easter.  this year, not so much.  how's them apples?

the one big big big thing that's saving me here is i seem to be losing inches.  i just started measuring last week so i don't know what i've lost so far but i can tell you that when i bought my belt i had to wear it on the very first hole.  like the biggest one.  i went down to the second for a while the last time i was dieting.  then, after my surgery when i blew up it was so tight i couldn't wear it at all.  i was a belt less bra less fool who had to borrow a bra from my fiance.  and now?  now i wear it on the third hole.  :)  and on good days, i could wear it {not so comfortably} on the fourth.  so yeah.  there's that.  thank god for that because if it wasn't for that, i'd be eating butter by the stick in a fit of depression.  that bra situation?  i'm wearing my own again but they really don't fit and i've tried different sizes.  i guess i just need to go get measured.  boo.

so yeah, it's really really hard.  and i just realized going back to the post about wearing lisa's bra that i promised a list of reasons why i want to lose weight.  well surprise surprise, i never did it.  real quick off the top of my head, here's a few.

1.  to fit in my own undergarments again.
2.  so the undergarments i am wearing now will stop rolling down in the front like they're trying to escape my belly.
3.  to be able to run around with my kids.
4.  to be able to go shopping and not only in the plus or maternity section.
5.  to have my chest enter the room before my belly.  {this one i've accomplished but at one point it was a goal}
6.  to feel confident.
7.  to feel healthier.
8.  and because i hate odd numbers to fit into my cute summer clothes from last year.  ;)

and because i really feel like this post needs a pic.  here's me.  through a peephole.  polaroid style.

{weight loss...2/17}

it's been a rocky few weeks.  i've definitely been eating better than before and i have been working out sporadically.  i was a bit nervous to step on the scale this week.  last week i had lost about 2 pounds.  this week, i pretty much stayed the same.  i'll take it.

it's hard.  really hard.  i want to be skinnier.  i want to weigh less.  when i see the numbers not moving even though i've been better, i get discouraged.  but you know what, i'll get there.  i will.  :)

and because i feel i have to post this to hold myself accountable....

2/6/12

{struggles}

this week has been a struggle. in many ways. i took some time off of work. {just a few days} but i'm really struggling with getting fully back into work mode. kwim? then, my photoshop trial has run out. i've purchased new software but the papers i sent to them for the education discount weren't enough info, so i sent more but haven't heard back. i'm not the most patient person. i case you didn't know. also, i've taken my 366 photo everyday but i have almost two weeks worth to post and i won't post without running them through photoshop. grrrrr. also, in case you're curious, i've taken an iPhone 366 pic everyday too. :)

mostly though, i'm struggling with my diet. today especially. today was awful. i'm having one of those super bad period days. you know the ones where if your coworkers were made out of chocolate you'd probably eat them? yeah. one of those. so i've snacked all day. i bought a bag of cadburry mini eggs. aka kryptonite. although i haven't opened them yet.....yet. tonight is a movie night for lisa and i so i'm sure i'll be eating them. and, i have the hugest ice cream sundae waiting for me in the freezer. coffee ice cream with caramel and heath bar. so yeah. struggles. i've been ok. and by ok i mean i've been better than i am when i'm not on a diet but still. AND i've been working out but not like i should be. so basically i failed this week. but you know what? there's always tomorrow. tomorrow is a new day. :)

really i should say now is a new now, but that ice cream is calling my name, so yeah. tomorrow.

p.s. i got a bag of stroopwafels from a friend.  i can't not eat them.  that would be mean to her and to the stroopwafels.  right?!

1/15/12

{15/366}

went to the gym today. one step in the right direction. pun intended. i lasted as long as a 2 year old would last an art museum.  but at least i went.  :)

15/366

{weight loss}

is hard.  really hard.  and i'm lazy.  i know that.  i'm very self aware.  i don't want to be fat.  but i also want to eat chocolate and ice-cream and m&m's out of the pouch of my hoodie because they taste best that way. they get a little bit warm but not mushy and they...see?  fat girl at heart.

let me just say that i do have confidence.  i know that i am beautiful inside and out.  whether i'm a size 2 or a size 22.  although i wouldn't want to be a size 2.  truly.  that is not me.  but somewhere, somewhere in the middle would be nice.  but i have that ache.  that "want to be able to try on clothes and not have to worry about them not fitting but rather worry about whether or not they are the most heinous thing ever and what the hell was i thinking?  only a hanger should wear that shirt" kind of experience.

i've always wanted to be skinnier.  even when i was skinnier.  i think a lot of us struggle with that.  if only i knew at 21 that i was my "ideally perfect".  if i knew then what i know now, 50 pounds bigger and 11 years later i wouldn't have beat myself up so much.

just now, at almost 33. wait, no, almost 32 is my weight truly bothering me.  i hate myself some days.  yet, i can't stop eating the food i love.  i can't start moving more.  i sit at a computer at work and i sit at my computer or in front of the tv or wherever at home.  i'm never just moving.  i'm so incredibly happy with every other aspect of my life.  my love is great, my kids are great, work is great, etc.  i just don't know what to do.  except i do know WHAT to do, i just don't know how to do it.

the only real diet i've tried is weight watchers.  it worked for me back in the day.  i lost 20 pounds quickly.  and then i got pregnant.  really?  yup.  now, 30 pounds heavier than i was after having my last baby, i'm lost.  i'm lost in this body that doesn't feel like my own.  i feel not myself.  does that even make sense?  i'm doing weight watchers but i'm not seeing results.  now to be honest i haven't been really really doing it.  but i was and nothing.  so, i'm starting again.

it's hard work.  really hard.  i know that.  i hate that i can't just do it.  why can't i just do it?????  even as i sit here i know i should be at the gym.  i should be going for a walk.  yet, here i sit.  on my ass complaining to you.  i think i need something to hold me accountable.  but then i get pissed off at that "thing".  maybe i should just start posting on here how much i weigh.  maybe seeing that number in numbers on the HUGE internet will make me want to work better.  harder.  work to make that number smaller.  maybe.  just maybe.

what has worked for everyone else?  and don't tell me eat better.  work out more.  that's obvious.  help me out some other way.  what is that way?  i don't know or i wouldn't be asking.

{weight loss....womp womp}

i did not do well this week.  i gained 1.7 pounds.  womp womp.  it is what it is.  i know why i gained.  i ate good food.  i ate a lot of candy.  i drank a lot of wine.  i really hope it's not the wine that did me in.  ;)

oh well.  until next week.  :)

p.s. i'm having fake thanksgiving tomorrow.  so, yummmmmmmmmm.

{weight loss/a sloooooooow week}

i only lost .4 pounds this week.  but i'm still happy with it.  i ate like i didn't know the meaning of the word diet last weekend.  it was fabulous.  although, if i'm being honest i still made healthy {er} choices.  we went to legal seafood and instead of getting my typical fish and chips, i got chicken, steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes.  then at not your average joe's i got a cheeseburger but instead of fries i got salad.  :)  which was really only to make me not feel bad about the three pieces of bread i had.

i still am on a work out hiatus.  this cold sucks.  it's just that lingering cough but that cough sends my asthma into a tizzy.  so yeah.  i'm gonna try some light working out today.  we'll see how it goes.  :)

love this pic.  threw it in the "shake it" app on my phone.
