ian started basketball at the YMCA a couple of weeks ago. He was really very nervous at first and was even begging me to not send him. I'm so very glad that we did. He had so much fun at his first practice.

wow i haven't really done an insta-friday in forever and a day. i'm home today and it's a pretty casual day so far. we had to go to ian's school this morning to finish up some paperwork and he painted a star for his name to go on. we love his teacher. she was chloe's teacher when she was in kindy too.
we had a busy busy week. we had weddings, first days of school, school orientations and work and life and all kinds of other stuff that made it busy. do you ever come out of a week just exhausted????? like i don't want to get out of bed ever again tired? that's me this week. and you know what? the coming week, gonna be so so much busier. but next friday, i get two point five glorious kid free hours! what am i going to do with myself?
like i said, we went to my baby sister's wedding last week. i gave chloe some "no heat" curls. we definitely didn't have them in long enough but it was still fun. :)

i tried going to the gym this week. the workout room was closed for renovations so i sat in the sauna instead. that's why i still look so cute. ;)

in june we had a birthday pool party at the Y for the kids. chloe, bay and izz's b-days are close together so we join 'em up. lol. this year was a ton of fun. the kids had a blast. :)
yup. this is me. i don't know why my mouth looks like that except for the fact that i was talking to my niece trying to show her that there was nothing to be afraid of.
after pool time we used the teen room to have cake and presents. :)
