{living in the moment...march}

i'm really late getting this post up and it's not where i wanted it to be this month. i swear for april's post i'm starting yesterday. i always wait until the last minute which typically isn't a huge deal. but this month i waited until the last minute and then the last minute laughed in my face. my oldest girl baby is sick. she was diagnosed with strep throat last week and today after a very very long night of sleeping on the living room floor together she was diagnosed with a very bad ear infection in the ear canal which made her ear hurt even to touch. hopefully the new meds will kick in very quickly. i've never seen her so sick and it makes us all sad.

what i should of done in staying true to living in the moment is busted out my camera and taken pics of us together huddled up on the floor. or a pic of the same infomercial that played all night long. something to remember it by. but you know what, i will never forget last night. i spent the night giving my whole self to one child. that is so very precious now a days with all four of them running around. for one night even if she was sick, she had me. and i had her. i hope that she will always remember me rubbing her forehead, holding her hand and telling her that it would be ok.

  6. The story of you taking care of your girl is the sweetest thing ever. I wish you had captured it photographically but you know what? That would have taken away from being 100% present to her, yknow? Being a mom is so consuming. Love your everyday photos. Your kids are going to love having these when they are older.
