{Throwback Thursday....Viva Las Vegas}

Okay so who said "throwback" had to mean a long time ago? These weren't taken all that long ago. Just last fall but I love them both. The mountains because, well duh. Mountains are gorgeous. And the butterflies were hanging in the airport. I'm so glad that I took my camera out to get a pic of them. I love them both as polaroids so much. I can't wait to print them out and put them up in our home.

fauxaroid thursday is back!  please come link up below!  this week i went a bit crazy.  i kind of fauxlaroided a crap ton of pictures the other night.  sometimes it's just my favorite thing to do.  anywho....

{fauxlaroid thursday...9/27}

i skipped fauxlaroid thursday last week.  sorry y'all.  please don't let that stop you from linking up this week!

in case you don't know, i'm rather obsessed with polaroids.  everything on here used to be polaroids or fauxlaroids if you will.  i changed my header out a few weeks ago but i'm sure the fauxlaroids will be back!

i use instant (an imac app) and poladroid (free software you can dl to your comp) to make my fauxlaroids.  sometimes i also use Shakeit (an app on my iphone).  you can make your fauxlaroid however you would like.  just make sure to enter it through the inlikz link down below.  at the end of the month i'm giving away a cute camera plate to my favorite entry. 

these are from last christmas. izz loved this zoo toy set she got from lisa's mom. i took these pics thinking they'd make a great set. i loved them even more when i fauxlaroided them! :)

{fauxlaroid thursday....9/13}

good morning y'all!  today is thursday and you know what that means, fauxlaroid thursday!  i have a few fauxlaroids for you today.  the first one i made on my iphone with an app called "shakeit".  as much as i am in love with polaroids, i often forget about this app.  it's a good one though.  i actually used many apps in todays pic.  first i used "camera +" to take the pic, "vsco cam" to edit it, then pic frame to put them together and put the label on and lastly "shakeit".

i actually don't love how it came out. there's too much going on and too much editing. does that sound normal? lol. but it just goes to show you that they aren't always perfect, so don't give up. :)

i also made these with the "shakeit" app.

today is the last day of august break.  it's always fun taking a bit of a bloggy break and relaxing for the month.  for the last week or so i've been sharing really old pics as poladroids.  here is the last one until next year. 

i know this was taken at friendly's.  we were there for breakfast, hence the tea bag.  i think it was someone's birthday but i can't remember.  hmmmm.  i bet lisa would know.  oh, and isn't she adorable?  until next year august break!

this week's fauxlaroid thursday is also a pic i uploaded for august break.  this picture is from not this past easter, but the one before.  don't they all look so tiny?  and ian, omg.  so stinkin' cute.  the best part of this pic, isobel.  does she look thrilled or what????!  lol.

i love changing old pics into fauxlaroids because i feel like it helps make them new again.  also, the processing is different on them than the original so you know.  that helps make it feel new too.

this is our new family picture.  it was taken in NH in the woods at the Polar Caves.  this is the second of two takes.  no tripod...just resting on a railing.  i actually kind of like the first one better...i was running and my flip flop fell off and everyone was laughing.  so cute.  but i'll show you that another day.  and how do you like ian's smile?  yup.  we're there.  looks like the grinch.  lol.
