well look at me. making it on insta-friday. it's been a while. i think. i don't even know. lol. but here we are. this week was a good one.

i tried and successfully attempted a sock bun for the first time. it'll definitely take some practicing, but i loved it. also, i got some cute new shoes. target. clearance. yeah buddy.

this cutie made a "what i love" book at school. she said "I love Mommy, Mama, Daddy and Jess". swoon.

i really had to try hard not to purchase this. i saw a damn infomercial on tv for a steamer and now i'm obsessed. do you have one? do i need one????

i know i've talked about my love for fauxlaroids here many times. i even used to have a link party on thursdays. well my favorite app "instant" for my imac now has an iphone version. double swoon.

this week was week two of this round of swim lessons. i'm glad the kids love them. i think they are super important. i never learned how to really swim well so it means a lot to me that they are.

this one had a bleach bath last night. i know. right? i freaked when the allergist recommended this. and i was braced for the worst. but it didn't hurt her at all. the water didn't even smell bleachy since it was so diluted. but the allergist said it would help. and this morning, ohmagerd. she looks amazing!!!!!!! yay for the bleach.

we had another storm. it was supposed to be rain here. we woke up at 4:30 am to kids screaming bloody murder. ian was screaming because he got out of bed after having a bad dream and was bumping into things. isobel woke up and couldn't see anything and started screaming "my eyes!!!!" poor thing. she thought there was something wrong with her. :( but we all went back to bed with the help of some flashlights and when we woke i logged on to the nstar site.

uh huh. boo. we got our power back about 9:30 am thank goodness. at least the snow is pretty. huh?
