{10 on 10 : 2/2012}

i did take these on the 10th but haven't posted them yet.  here you go, 10 glimpses into my day.  :)

it was a rather normal day for us. all around. chloe woke up to 3 dollars from the tooth fairy. she promptly told me that the tooth fairy only brings two dollars. i told her that she must have gotten the extra for being so brave the night before.

she, is not impressed.

it was chilly on this morning.

she likes going up the stairs but is afraid to go down. and yes, we went out in her feety pajamas...don't judge.

i really should be blogging challenge pictures.  specifically hands and sunflare since i'm behind...again.  oh well.  i'm a challenge failure.  lol.  maybe i'll get to the rest this weekend.  maybe not.  for now, here is photo comparison number 2.  this time it took 3 pics of the kids on the stairs 3 different ways. 

1.  digital camera.....edited in CS4 whichever way i felt like it.

2.  film camera.....with whatever film happened to be in my camera.  {this time it was portra 400}

3.  iphone camera.....hipstamatic with my favorite combo.  {helga viking, ina's 1969, flash off}

i love these comparisons. i find it so interesting how many different looks you can get. :)

weekly polaroid fix.....{jumping on the bed}

polaroids make me feel like the photos are from my childhood. even though we didn't have a polaroid growing up.

{worst cloning job ever}

my photographer friends will appreciate this.  this is the worst cloning job i have ever seen!  boo!!!!!!!!! look at those eyes!

the fam and i have a family membership to the Y. last year they installed this awesome outdoor pool. it has a great shallow part for the kids to run around in and play. this proves helpful because they are actually afraid to get wet. when their faces get wet, they flip the heck out. i have NO idea where they would get such a ridiculous fear from...insert a not from me type whistle here....lol.

looks like she loved it huh? nope she was screaming mommy the whole time and lisa claims that little izz's nails dug right into her.

she did end up having a great time. and she got wet. apparently the big mean waterfall is not ok, but the water slide is! we did not get pics of that but maybe next time. :)

Photoshop Actions

one of my dear friends has some photoshop actions she's made. i've been meaning to get them forever and ever. i just kept forgetting. life is so busy! i finally got around to purchasing them and she is so stinkin' sweet that she sent a note back with my money telling me that they were an engagement gift. if i could hug her through the computer, i would. so i finally have them and just yesterday got a chance to play with them. here are some examples of the before and afters. these were just very quick plays....they could be much more awesome if i put a little effort into them. if you're looking for some kick butt actions, head over to http://www.theartofdesign.ca/MakeArtActions/index.html
