This post is going to be long on pictures so I'll make it short on words. We had a great time at our first pride parade. I'm not sure either one of us knew what to expect. The best part of it all? The whole place was just full of love. It was amazing.
Great pics Angela!!! It looks amazing and I can't believe you saw Wonder Woman....I would have cried :)
We have been to the Pride Festival in Minneapolis for the last five years, and it is one of my favorite parts of the summer. My heart just swells with "pride" when I see all of the support. Love is Love!!
Oh! I love these! I thought I was going to say that my favorite photos were the ones with Linda Carter, but then that last one with you and Lisa, well... that's what it's all about, right?
I'll tell this story on the blog in the next bit, but as you know, we were in London when DOMA was struck down (!). Well, on our last day in Paris, we headed to the Luxemborg Gardens. It's known as the "most relaxing place in the city." As we came out of the Metro we can hear the deep pulsing bass of music (the kind you can feel in your skin), and it seems so odd because A) we hadn't experience that before and B) most relaxing place in the city, right?
Well, we'd walked right into Paris's Gay Pride Parade! "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," rainbow balloons and assless pants everywhere! It was awesome! ;)
Once again, you captured the day perfectly! My sister and her GF attended their first Pride Parade a few years back and they also said it was wonderful. I hope that you and Lisa attend many more

Enjoyed your photos! I always miss our Pride Parades here in town. I'm making a point to NOT miss it the next time.
