{tubes}

my sweet boy had tubes put in his ears last week.  it was a very nerve wracking week for me.  the day of his surgery he was super brave.  probably more so than myself.  here are some pics i took.  most of these are from before.  he did cry a bit when he woke up and a little bit on the way home but after a little bit he was fine.  he played normally the rest of the day and even went to school the next day.  he's a trooper.  :)

he had his surgery at the same place i had mine and by the same doctor.  we like her a lot.  she told us that the fluid in his ears was "horrible".  she also said that the fluid in his right ear was so bad that it was "chunky".  gross.  but now that his tubes are in, the fluid should go away and his hearing should majorly improve!  :)

on our way in. he went in in his feety jammies and brought along mickey and brown monkey.

i got to bring him into the operating room and sit with him while they put him to sleep. i was so brave. trust me. it was hard. but no tears were shed at all in front of him. :)

this is the only pic i have of him at the hospital after he woke up. he finally calmed down enough to have a popsicle...or three.
