{go on a nature hike}

we checked our first thing off of our summer bucket list! we went on a nature hike. kind of. ;) the girls and i went for a walk around the neighborhood looking for flowers and such. the boys were in trouble that's why they didn't come with. it was sad but great at the same time cause we got some girl time in. ;)

this is the first flower we saw. pretty huh?

i've always loved this part of the sidewalk where the trees hang over and create a magical little spot.

we are fortunate to live a short walk from this wonderfulness. i know when we move, we won't be as close. i'll miss it dearly.

it's hard work going on walks, let me tell ya.

having someone push you around must be so tiring. isobel thinks so.

Chloe: hey, don't touch me!

Isobel: but, i loooove you.

the short one wouldn't put her feet in. oh well for her.

me: guys, shhhhhhh i'm trying to take a picture of a bumble bee.

isobel: where is it?

both girls bravely come up to see him.

chloe: i'm scared.

me: don't be scared. he won't hurt you. bees only hurt people when you scare them.

isobel: roooooooooaaaaaaaar!

is it possible for sisters to be best of friends when they are four years apart? i really hope so.
