{she loves a good storm}

it was so stormy this day.  it was incredibly dark too.  izz, she loved it.  the horn for the fire station must have gone off 12 times in an hour and a half.  it was awesomesauce.  :)

i should say she loves them as long as they don't knock the power out! ;)

{it's hailing...well, hail}

yesterday out of no where it started poring.  lisa, izz and i were in our bedroom watching tv when the rain started.  lisa jumped up and ran around like a crazy woman and out the door.  you see, lisa has a bad habit of leaving her sunroof open.  and she had gone out earlier to bring bailey to sign up for JBA.  so out she went.  izz laughed.  it was quite a sight.  she didn't leave her sunroof open, however while she was out there it did start to hail.  yes.  hail.  we don't see a heck of a lot of hail around here so it was pretty awesome.  here are some quick shots.

this one is my fave. i just wanted to get a quick shot of the dark cloud and when i uploaded to the computer i saw that you can see the hail falling. :)

yes!  i'm still talking about it.  there will probably be another post after this one too.  if you don't like it, don't read it.  ;)

here are a few shots i got that morning.  it was crazy windy and the water was soooooooo high.  although, you won't be able to tell cause you don't have anything to reference it too.  just trust me.  it was epic high.

{hurricane irene....or the slowest moving thing ever}

oh em gee this thing is slow. i know most hurricanes are but this thing just seems like it has the mind of a two year old on their way to time out. get a move on already!!!!!!!!

irene is in new york. or almost there. who knows. i'm sure i'll be waking up tonight to some excitement. she's not too far away now. here is a newer pic with pretty purple warnings....

btw...i am COASTAL. :)

and here is my hero. mike seidel. he is reporting for the weather channel.  he is brave. and someday, i want his job. here are some cool shots of him at work. what i really want to see is him try to walk tomorrow after using all the muscles in his body to stand up all day in that wind. :)

seriously, lisa and i were watching all morning and when we left for work at 1:00 pm he was still in that ocean. good job man.
