So, tomorrow is the big day.  I'm getting my enlarged and crooked tonsils out.  I'm pretty nervous.  I think that's normal.  But when I asked my doctor what the recovery would be like, she said to me "Two weeks of pure hell".  Well, I guess she's honest huh????  Anybody out there have any experience with this surgery as an adult?  I'd love to hear that it's not going to be that bad.  Or even if it's worse, I'd like to hear that too.  I'm of the school of expect the worst; hope for the best.  I will try to document my surgery and recovery best I can.  I'll at least bother all of you with whining about how bad it hurts.  :)

For now, I'll leave you with a picture of some stuff I won't be able to have for who knows how long....Mmmmmmmm coffee.  :)

  1. Good luck!!!! It is pure hell. I had mine out at 21. Had to stay one night in the hospital due to swallowing too much blood. They found puss pockets, big ones, behind them :( im sending good luck vibes to you! Good luck. Much love!

  2. Wish I were there to listening to all your whining. Thinking happy thoughts for you, my love!

  3. Thanks for the good luck vibes Ash. Sorry your experience was a bad one.

Oh carrie, how I wish you were here too. :)
