yes. i take pictures of books at the store i want to read with my iphone so i won't forget. yes it works. kind of. anyways, here's some of the ones on my list.
i just finished the hunger games trilogy and i'm now working on the 50 shades trilogy. :)
i totally judge books by their cover. these two caught my attention for cute factor alone....
the next two are written by bloggers that i love. :)
sophie rocks. as does ellen.
have you read any of them? did you love/hate/ehhhh 'em???!

{a first}
i bought my girl her first chapter book. now that they're all growing up and not babies anymore making the "big" milestones, you tend to forget about all the firsts that are still to come.
she's been asking for a magic tree house book and had even borrowed one from a friend at school. "mommy, can you please get me a chapter book? like a magic tree house?" ummmmmmmmm, you're 6. but she borrowed her friend's book and slayed it in two days. she's an awesome reader.
so, i went to the book section to get a magic tree house but ran into super cute girly girly books. now, i'll fully admit, i judge books by their cover. if it's not cute, i don't buy it. unless i have a recommendation from someone. so anyways, i fell in love with ivy and bean. so that's what she got. i gave it to her and she was so excited!
hopefully she loves books as much as her mommy does. but maybe she won't judge them on cute factor like i do.
what are some books that your young readers love???

audio books
i love the idea of audio books. i LOVE to read but it takes me forever to get through a book now-a-days. so recently i've started downloading audiobooks to my ipod and i listen to them at work instead of the same 4,000 songs over and over. here are two i've enjoyed recently. :)
i just finished this gem by Sophie Kinsella. it's the last in a series. a wonderful series....read it. now!
today i just started this beauty by Jennifer Weiner. it's good so far. she's one of my favorite authors. she also wrote the new comedy tv show State of Georgia.
i had downloaded a bunch of audio books but due to a recent unfortunate crashing of my pc, lost them all. i was most looking forward to reading THIS ONE! Ree is just fab. Down to earth and fabulous. Her blog is just plain awesomesauce. :)
