{adventures in film....roll 2....Portra 400}

i'm not going to pretend that i know what the heck i'm doing with my film camera. when i used it back in the day, i used it on auto. today, auto. lol. i got a huge gift of five rolls of film from a wonderful lady on clickinmons.  you can read about roll 1 here! the first roll i took was bw. this is color. pretty pretty color. when the exposure is right....which honestly wasn't much. i don't know why i'm so afraid of the film. but i shot this roll in auto except for the end of the roll in which i put the camera on manual but forgot and shot like i was on auto. lol. here are some of my favorites from the roll. :)

{adventures in film}

i'm on a photography forum called clickin moms and this summer we had a PIF {pay it forward} thing going on.  someone decided to pif 5 rolls of film.  i haven't shot film in years, and it was pretty film, so i jumped right on it.  the first roll i played with was a Kodak BW 400 CN.  i started the roll on pics of the kids and finished off in NYC.  here are some of my favorite shots.  they aren't perfect, that's for sure but i love them all the same.  so excited to get going on my other rolls.  thanks so much shannon!  :)

this is my absolute fave from the roll. his bead head weekend mohawk is just fabulous.

it was rainy and blah in nyc while we were there. i feel like these really show the mood. :)
