{best mail day ever}

isn't it nice to get nice things in the mail and not just bills?  i agree.  it is!  well today i checked my mail expecting lots of bills and junk mail because i haven't checked it in quite a while and i had two things waiting for me.

one was......



this box that contains a book about our new hampshire vacation. it was free which makes it better. it's really been the only good perk i've gotten from klout. i can't wait to go home and open it!

the other was an envelope from my friend carol....



with this cute mickey bracelet...and she sent it in the disney bag. LOVE!!!!!

{getting the tree}

these are quite old now but i want to upload our month in order.  one perfect thursday night we went and got our christmas tree.  :)

yup...i'm five. and so apparently is lisa, she told me to take this.

last year these were hand written. on the way into the tree farm bailey said "look, this one is on hold for a family named balsam". that cute little story is also how our scout elf got his name.

i love the look of the pics without flash but my camera/lens combo just aren't fast enough for this family so i took some flashy ones too.

we decided that this one *may* be a bit too big.

but this one, is just right. :)

of course i had to get a shot of the lights.

when we got home, we watched a mickey christmas carol and had some hot chocolate {with fluff...is there any other way?}.

even izz got in on the hot chocolate action. she didn't however have fluff. poor thing.
