{United States Botanic Garden}

One of the million things we did while in D.C. was visit the Botanical Gardens. It was beautiful. It was one of my favorite things but I'll let the pictures do the talking. :)

I wish I had payed attention to what flowers were what and thought to keep track for you so I'd know for this post but in all honesty we kind of zipped through here to get back to that trolley that comes every half hour.





Christmas trees are one of my most favorite smells in the whole world. Especially Balsam trees.

There were so many orchids. Orchids remind me of my mom. I bought her an orchid plant once for Mother's Day.




A rubber tree. I LOVE that she had to feel it.

{Saving Mr. Banks}

Moviefone just released the first trailer for Saving Mr. Banks.  Saving Mr. Banks is about the making of Mary Poppins and I'd be lying if I said I didn't tear up while watching the trailer.  Tom Hanks plays Walt Disney and Emma Thompson plays T.I. Travers the writer of Mary Poppins.

There was a struggle between the two to get the movie made. Travers fought tooth and nail to have the movie made the way she wanted. Towards the end of the trailer we find out why. I personally can't wait for December 20th!

Also, I think I might love the idea of Tom Hanks as Walt....  What do you think???
