{frog pond}

saturday lisa and i took the kids to boston to go to frog pond. it was some sort of frog appreciation day. there was supposed to be crafts {which we didn't see}, face painting {the line was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long}, live music and wading in frog pond {which was closed :(}. apparently there was a big storm in the city the night before which caused frog pond to fill up with mud. gross. we waited around but it was never all cleaned up before we left.

it still ended up being a great day! we played on the playground and then splashed in the splash pad. we packed a lunch so we had a picnic. then, after lunch we got balloon animals. the kids played on the grass and bailey climed a tree. then we took a small walk and went on the swan boats. we saw two weddings and chloe thought the brides were beautiful. all in all, it was a great day. :)
